“I started HOODOO because I couldn’t sit back and watch rock & roll get buried beneath the noise of algorithms, industry burnout, and forgotten legends. I’ve lived this life — as a songwriter, guitarist, producer, frontman, and founder of underground bands like:

SONS OF TOIL – A legendary underground power-rock band, born of grit and heavy riffs, forged in the 1990s underground scene.

The Capone Mob – My raw, genre-blending solo band channeling blues, hard rock, and the untamed chaos of real live performance.

I was there when Metallica played to 10 people at the Woodstock Concert Factory in 1982. I’ve watched greatness from the front row before the world ever caught on — and I’ve also played to mostly empty rooms where the walls still remember every note.

From dive bars to DIY fests, I’ve lived the underground. HOODOO was born to amplify that world. The sweat. The passion. The stories that don’t chase clout — they chase truth.

This isn’t a nostalgia project. It’s a rebellion. A resurrection. A community.

HOODOO isn’t just a magazine — it’s a microphone for those who never had one.

I’ve played to ten people and partied with fifty in a room meant for five. I’ve slept on rehearsal room floors, in backseats, and on stranger’s sofas. Woke up with lipstick on my face and no memory of the girl pulling off my leather pants.

I’ve wandered the Sunset Strip after Mötley Crüe parties, seen lines of powder and lives unravel. Once had a full conversation with a woman at the Rainbow Room — without her saying a word. She left in the morning like a ghost.

The scene was dangerous. Beautiful. Unforgiving.

But it was real — and I survived it.

And that’s why I built HOODOO.

For the lifers. The misfits. The ones who never stopped believing. The underground is alive.”
